Great place to buy fish or shrimp or anything hard to find than normal pet stores. The fish are all well kept and the owner/workers really know their stuff!
This place is rather small, the selection of fish and invertebrates is rather slim, and the prices for everything are very high. There are much better aquarium stores in the area, like Old Orchard aquarium in Skokie, and Seven Seas Aquatic Life in Mount Prospect.
Very nice store. It's small and a bit pricey, but they take very good care of their animals and that's worth it for me. They have a wide selection of fish and inverts, many you won't see in a typical pet store. They do, however, have a small selection of certain aquarium items that you'd think they'd have a myriad of, such as fish food and water conditioners. I highly recommend for buying fish/inverts, aquarium plants, and aquariums with unique dimensions. If looking for something else, I'd call first before making a trip.
Great service. They will answer any of your questions and they have a variety of fresh and salt water fish.. all the fish looks very healthy and reasonable priced.
Probably one of the best shops in northern Illinois. A good selection of freshwater fish, plants and shrimp, and an equally good selection of saltwater fish and corals. I often see fish here that you just can't find anywhere else, and at very reasonable prices. It's always clean and the animals are all healthy. Don't hesitate to stop by!
